Chowder Up Seafood
Seafood Street‑Food Champion at St George’s Market
Chowder Up is a seafood street‑food stall at St George’s Market, serving chowder and hot seafood dishes built around local Northern Irish catch and ingredients.
Every weekend, they dish up creamy seafood chowder with Guinness wheaten bread alongside specials such as Portavogie scampi, chilli and garlic calamari, smoked haddock kedgeree, shrimp and fish po’boy sandwiches and smoked salmon bagels – all cooked to order in the hustle of the market. As a Food NI member with a clear “local first” ethos, Chowder Up helps put regionally sourced seafood in front of both Belfast regulars and visitors, showing how Northern Ireland’s coastal produce can shine in relaxed, ready‑to‑eat street‑food format.
