Who can join Belfast Flavours?
We welcome locally owned, independent food, drink and hospitality businesses, plus aligned organisations and individuals who want to help grow Belfast as a food and drink tourism destination.
Full Member – Belfast businesses
To become a Member, you should:
Be based within the Belfast City Council area.
Be locally owned and independent (producer, restaurant, bar, café, street food, market, caterer, accommodation, event or food experience).
Showcase and maximise quality local produce.
Actively help position and market Belfast as a food and drink tourism destination.
Demonstrate or be working towards sustainable business practices.
Offer experience‑led, not purely price‑led, products.
It’s a bonus if you:
Are a member of Food NI, Visit Belfast, Hospitality Ulster or the Hotels Federation.
Hold a food hygiene rating of 4 or above.
We also offer other membership types
Associate Producer Members – producers outside Belfast who supply, or aim to supply, Belfast’s market.
Affiliate Members – locally owned businesses or individuals allied to the food and drink sector who support our mission.
Student Members – hospitality and food students interested in the sector.
Individual Tourism & Hospitality Members – chefs and hospitality staff committed to skills development and local sourcing.
Media Partner Members – media professionals and organisations covering food and drink who support Belfast Flavours’ promotion.
