Blackfire Food
Blackfire Food are Belfast’s original hot sauce company.
Established in 2014 by Tim McCarthy, they produce a range of spicy condiments many of which have won international food awards including Gold and Silver at the European Hot Sauce Awards as well as lots of stars at the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards, Golden Fork Nominee and the Great British Food Awards. Tim hosts chilli eating competitions all year round for corporate clients, bars and restaurants and at the Mela in Botanic Gardens as well as collaborating with chefs and other artisan food businesses. Blackfire focus on small batch products that are packed with flavour and quality ingredients including Armagh Bramley Apple cider vinegar (PGI status). Products include a range of hot sauces from mild to wild, chilli jam, spicy ketchup, infused chilli oils etc.
