Behind this approach is a long-established, family-owned hotel group which has been shaping hospitality in Northern Ireland for over fifty years. Founded by Sir William Hastings in the 1960s, the group has grown into the largest independent hotel collection in the region and is widely recognised for warm service, personal touches and consistently high standards.

Hastings Hotels is one of Northern Ireland’s best‑known hotel groups, with a collection of seven luxury 4‑ and 5‑star properties across the region. Four of these are in and around Belfast: the five‑star Culloden Estate & Spa overlooking Belfast Lough, the iconic Europa Hotel in the city centre, the stylish Grand Central Hotel and the four‑star Stormont Hotel in the east of the city.

Its restaurants and dining rooms enjoy a strong reputation for showcasing local produce, from award‑winning breakfasts that read like a roll‑call of regional producers to dining menus built around quality meats, breads, dairy and seasonal vegetables from across the province.
